## Summary

The Ministry of Defence has issued a Prior Information Notice (PIN) on 15/05/2024 titled "Roadside Repair and Recovery" in the services category. This PIN is the initiation of a tender process to obtain feedback on the Authority's Risk Register related to providing a roadside repair and recovery service to MOD owned and registered vehicles. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage. The opportunity extends to suppliers interested in participating in a Request for Information (RFI) exercise to provide feedback, with the future notice date set for 15/05/2024. The location for service provision includes the United Kingdom, Europe, and Morocco.

This procurement process by the Ministry of Defence for Roadside Repair and Recovery presents an opportunity for businesses offering fleet management, repair, and maintenance services to compete. Businesses capable of providing a full roadside repair and recovery service around the clock, 365 days a year, including vehicles up to 44 tonnes, are well-suited to participate. The Ministry of Defence's request for suppliers to express interest in the RFI exercise allows businesses to contribute to the development of the Risk Register, fostering collaboration and innovation within the industry.
