## Summary

The Devon County Council has planned a procurement process titled "CP2519-24 Recycling of District Council Collected Waste Paper" in the services category. This process aims to manage waste paper collected by the local authorities in Devon, with the current contract expiring on 31/01/2025. In partnership with 8 District Councils and other authorities, this process seeks market engagement to understand the current marketplace and design an appealing tender. Interested parties can join a virtual discussion in June 2024 to provide input and help shape the forthcoming tender.

This tender offers opportunities for businesses involved in refuse and waste related services to engage with a strategic waste disposal project. Companies specializing in waste management and recycling are well-suited to compete in this procurement process. The market engagement phase and subsequent tender process aim to encourage widespread participation and ensure a cost-effective service for the authorities involved. Businesses interested in sustainable waste management practices will find this procurement opportunity aligned with their service offerings and expertise.
