* The services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: * absence of competition for technical reasons Explanation: A negotiated procedure without prior publication (direct award) was followed in accordance with regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 due to competition being absent for technical reasons. The services are essential requirements of the Council and can only be met by a proprietary solution only available from a single supplier. * The works required for servicing, maintenance and repairs are for existing specialist equipment and to use an alternative supplier would not be reasonable because Facultatieve Technologies Ltd are the only manufacturer of the equipment installed at South Bristol Crematoria and retain sole access to the software and technical data required to service, maintain and repair the equipment.
