The contract materials will consist of residual waste arising from the Council kerbside refuse collection service and recycling centre residual waste. The successful contractor will process the contract material by the removal/recovery of any recyclable material and processing of residues into RDF/SRF fuel. The aim of the contract services will be to divert residual wastes from landfill to assist the Council in meeting its landfill diversion targets. Material will be collected at Gortrush transfer station and Drummee Transfer Station as stated in the lots in bulk trailer or similar system. The Council will arrange for the loading of the successful contractor's vehicle. The treatment of this waste is to ensure that the Client meets its obligations Under Domestic and European legislation including the Landfill Allowance Scheme (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2004.
