## Summary

The LHC Procurement Group, partnering with organisations such as the Scottish Procurement Alliance, is overseeing a public procurement process for a major framework involving the design, supply, and installation of both permanent and temporary modular buildings. This framework covers a wide range of uses, including educational, healthcare, office, and community buildings, across England, Wales, and Scotland. The procurement process is currently at the award stage, encompassing several lots with suppliers such as Portakabin, McAvoy Modular Offsite, and Premier Modular Limited being awarded contracts. These contracts, active as of May 27, 2025, are set to last for 1,440 days and involve locations such as the UKM region for temporary buildings. The process follows an open procedure, adhering to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

This procurement project presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in modular building solutions, particularly those capable of providing comprehensive services from design to completion. Companies with expertise in sectors such as education, healthcare, or community infrastructure are especially well-positioned to benefit. As the framework is a collaborative effort among multiple procurement alliances, it also offers the potential for substantial regional engagements and partnerships. Businesses looking to expand in the UK modular construction market can leverage this framework to participate in national projects as well as in local and regional initiatives. The involvement in such a framework not only promises revenue growth but also opens avenues for contributing to community benefits and sustainable development goals through the various community benefit requirements embedded within the framework.
