## Summary

The Crescent Purchasing Consortium Limited (CPC) has completed its procurement process for the "Utilities Supplies and Services Framework." The framework, focused on energy-management services within the public utilities sector, will service various regions across the UK. Initially announced on 17th June 2024, the tender closed on 17th July 2024, and the contract, valued at £500,000,000, was awarded on 10th October 2024 to Inenco Group. The framework agreement is slated to last for 48 months, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions, and covers services such as energy efficiency consultancy and gas and electricity procurement. The procurement method was an open procedure and included a ten-calendar-day standstill period to address any appeals regarding the award.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the energy consulting and management sectors. Companies well-versed in providing compliant utility routes to market, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on energy market conditions, and offering strategic advice to secure value-for-money contracts are well-suited for this framework. The framework's access to current and future CPC member institutions across the education sector, local authorities, and wider public sector entities ensures a steady demand for services, creating avenues for business growth and long-term partnerships.

## Notice

The CPC are looking to put a framework in place that offers members a compliant route to market for their Utility requirements. We are looking to work with a single utilities expert to provide members with sound knowledge and advice on the options available to them as well as keeping them updated with the ever-volatile energy market conditions and ensuring they secure their contract in the best way at the right time to demonstrate VFM. The energy consultant must be able to provide a fully compliant route to market for end users looking to procure their gas and electricity.
