## Summary

The most recent procurement process carried out by Hull City Council involves the provision of Specialist Housing Related Support for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs. This process, conducted under the Light Touch Regime as a further competition, commenced with contracts signed on 19 August 2025, with anticipated services starting from 1 September 2025. The initial contract term extends to 30 November 2029, with a potential extension option up to 30 November 2031, valued at approximately £765,151.38 over six years. The industry category is social work and related services, with a location focus within the region UKE11 (Hull, UK). The procurement stage is currently in the award phase, undertaken through a restricted procedure.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for organisations specialising in social services, particularly those capable of providing housing and floating support services. SMEs and registered social landlords are well suited to compete, as seen in the involvement of local SMEs such as Hull and East Yorkshire Mind and Target Housing, who have already secured awards for related lots. Companies with expertise in delivering accompanying non-care related support for vulnerable groups, and those willing to scale their services based on demand, would find this procurement process beneficial. The contract structure allows for an adaptive service provision, providing a pathway for increasing service units and hours according to need, thus offering a stable and potentially expanding business environment within the established framework.
