## Summary

The Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) has recently cancelled tender HIS/2019/381 for Healthcare & Public Health Professionals working on Scrutiny, Regulation & Inspection. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically medical practice and related services. The tender aimed to establish a framework providing scrutiny and inspection resources for NHS and independent healthcare services in Scotland. The duration initially set for the Framework Agreement is two years, extendable for two additional twelve-month periods.

This cancelled tender by HIS could have offered business opportunities for firms involved in healthcare services and scrutiny activities. Businesses well-suited to compete would be those with expertise in healthcare regulation and inspection. Despite the cancellation, understanding the tender requirements and evaluation criteria could position businesses favourably for future similar opportunities in the healthcare sector.
