## Summary

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime is overseeing a public procurement process for Lift Inspections and Maintenance services for the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). This solicitation is classified under lift-maintenance services (CPV: 50750000) and involves two primary lots: Lift Inspections and Lift Maintenance. Located in London (UKI), this process is following a restricted procedure method. The tender was active with key submissions closing on 29 July 2024, and the contract for Lift Maintenance was awarded to Guideline Lift Services Limited for £9,107,427.90, with the contract signed on 8 November 2024.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in elevator and maintenance services to expand their portfolios by serving a prominent organisation like the MPS. Companies with capabilities in planned maintenance, reactive services, and compliance testing for various types of lifting and access equipment would be well-suited to compete. The contract involves not only maintenance of traditional lifts but also specialised equipment such as hoists, dock levellers, and scissor lifts, offering diverse opportunities for experienced service providers in the industry.
