## Notice

Cornwall Council has a statutory obligation under the Health and Social Care Act 2012 and the Local Authorities Regulations 2013 to provide confidential, open access sexual health and reproductive health services for the population of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This includes the provision of comprehensive testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, contraception, sexual health promotion and HIV prevention services. The local authority via public health have a statutory duty to commission and provide local sexual and reproductive health services for the whole of the population across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Therefore, it is necessary to commission a sexual health service in Plymouth (with University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust - UHPT), for our Cornish residents that choose to access a sexual health service in Plymouth.
