## Summary

The tender process for the M-SParc Phase 2 Construction Works is being led by Bangor University, governed by public law, with the aim of creating a new low/zero carbon development on the M-SParc site in Gaerwen, Anglesey. This opportunity falls under the "Building construction work" industry category, with a project status that has progressed from planning to becoming an active tender process. The open procedure allows interested businesses to submit bids electronically, with a submission deadline on 27th September 2024. This development, part of the works procurement category, is valued at a significant £6,729,000 and is part of efforts to secure funding from the North Wales Growth Deal.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for construction firms, particularly those with experience in sustainable development and social value integration. Businesses that excel in providing innovative solutions for carbon reduction and offer social benefit contributions are well-suited to this contract, as these aspects form core evaluation criteria. With 260 training weeks and involvement in community benefits as key objectives, SMEs focusing on skill development and community engagement have a strong competitive edge. This impactful project promises to stimulate business growth while contributing to the economic and environmental goals of North Wales.
