## Summary

Dwr Cymru Cyfyngedig (DCC) has initiated a tender process for procuring Wastewater Network Services, categorized under construction work for water and sewage pipelines (CPV: 45231300). The procurement is at the Tender stage, with DCC seeking to secure services for AMP 8 and early AMP 9 over a period of up to 8 years. The tender is divided into five Lots based on regional and functional needs, covering areas including Hereford, Powys & Gwent; Southwest, Swansea, Valleys & Cardiff; South Wales, Hereford & Powys; North Wales; and an All Wales combined Lot. Key deadlines include the tender end date on 10 January 2025 and the second stage invitation on 14 February 2025. The services involve 24/7 standby operations, cyclic desilting, CCTV investigations, flooding and pollution response, and sewer rehabilitation among others. The total value of the contract is £276 million GBP.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in wastewater network services, maintenance, repair, and associated operations. Suitable businesses could range from small enterprises focused on specific components, such as cyclic desilting or CCTV investigation, to larger organisations capable of providing comprehensive network operating and repair services across multiple regions. Participation can be as standalone economic operators or as key subcontractors, but each business can only be awarded one Lot. The competitive nature of this procurement, along with the potential for contract renewals and extensions up to 96 months, offers substantial business growth prospects for companies able to deliver high-quality and responsive wastewater services. Interested parties are encouraged to follow the electronic submission process via DCC's eSourcing Portal to express their interest and submit their proposals.
