## Summary

The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract for the Leeds OASIS service, aimed at providing intensive support for individuals in Leeds experiencing a mental health crisis. This service includes sleeping facilities for up to 6 people and can support an additional 4 individuals in crisis but with home care responsibilities. The procurement, under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, has been awarded using Direct Award C with a contract term from 19 July 2024 to 18 January 2026 and valued at £1,463,653. The project falls under the community health services category and is based in the UKE4 region covering Wakefield, Leeds, and surrounding areas.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specializing in mental health support services. Companies experienced in providing short-term, intensive emotional and practical support are well-suited to compete. The direct award process permits existing providers, such as those who have successfully delivered similar programmes, to leverage their expertise and expand their service offerings within the NHS framework. Additionally, businesses adept in managing crisis intervention and comfortable housing solutions will find this contract particularly advantageous for growth and service diversification.
