If this future opportunity is of interest, please register interest against this PIN notice. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The purpose of this Prior Information Notice(PIN) is to notify the market of Barnsley Council's potential re- commissioning of extra care provision at two of the four extra care schemes in Barnsley. The model of extra care will be based on 24-hour access to support, including care staff operating during both daytime and night-time hours, and wellbeing offered during daytime hours. The service will be delivered by a single provider operating across both schemes. The service is primarily to adults aged 55 and over and who meet a set eligibility criterion. This includes adults who have assessed care and support needs associated with older age, including illness, disability, frailty and people living with dementia.Consideration is given to individuals under the age of 55, if extra care is suitable for meeting their specific needs.
