## Summary

Derby City Council has successfully awarded a public procurement contract for the provision of specialist training courses and need-specific training resources in private sector housing, under the title TD2150. This contract falls under the industry category of education and training services (CPV code: 80000000), and the main procurement category is services. The procurement process has reached the award stage as of 14 January 2025, with the framework agreement expected to commence in December 2024 and initially run until November 2026. An option exists to extend this agreement by up to an additional two years, in annual increments, depending on performance and business needs. The overall framework value is estimated at £200,000, divided among six lots.

The awarded framework presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in housing-related educational and training services. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in areas such as Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), fire safety training, possession processes, and landlord training are well-positioned to leverage this framework to enhance their market presence. Additionally, companies capable of developing new training courses in response to legislative changes will find this tender particularly lucrative. With multiple lots available, there are ample chances for diverse businesses to engage and grow through this public procurement initiative.
