## Summary

The procurement process involves a tender for the heavy maintenance work on Chiltern Railways MKIII and DVT Units. The buying organisation, THE CHILTERN RAILWAY COMPANY LIMITED, is looking for experienced bidders to offer solutions including corrosion investigation and rectification for their fleet. The procurement is in the planning stage and is expected to start in early February 2025, lasting between 2 to 5 years. Interested bidders must be UK-based, have relevant experience in heavy maintenance services, and register interest via email to procurement@arrivatrains.co.uk.

This opportunity presents a chance for businesses specialising in railway maintenance and repair services to bid for a long-term contract with Chiltern Railways. Companies with expertise in heavy maintenance work on rolling stock and corrosion repair are well-suited to compete. The procurement method is through a competitive tendering procedure, providing a fair chance for qualified businesses to showcase their capabilities and potentially secure a valuable contract for heavy maintenance services on the Chiltern Railways fleet.
