## Summary

The Landmark Trust has completed the procurement process for the "Mavisbank: Conservation Design Team Services," aiming to develop a detailed design and oversee the phased restoration of Mavisbank House and its pavilions. This contract falls under the architectural and related services category, with the primary location being in the UKM73 region. The procurement process, conducted via a restricted procedure, began with a tender notice in July 2024. The contract, valued at £269,368, was awarded on 3rd December 2024 to LDN Architects LLP. The procurement phase has now been closed and completed.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses skilled in heritage conservation, particularly those with expertise in handling complex historic buildings. Companies possessing accredited conservation architects with experience in high-status restorations would be well-positioned to benefit. The phased nature of the project offers continued engagement, especially for firms familiar with navigating NHMF and NLHF funded projects. Participation in such prestigious conservation efforts can enhance a company's portfolio and reputation in the heritage conservation sector.

## Notice

The Client wishes to procure a comprehensive Design Team to develop the detailed design, secure the necessary approvals and then oversee the delivery and implementation of Phase 1 works to Mavisbank House and pavilions (the Contract). Subject to satisfactory performance of Phase 1 works, the Contract may then be extended to include designing and then overseeing the delivery and implementation of Phase 2 works. The Design Team should include a RIBA (SCA) or AABC or equivalent accredited conservation architect in a leading role. The lead Architect will need to have specialist knowledge and experience of preserving, conserving and restoring complex historic buildings of high status (Grade I/Grade II*/equivalent), but within a broader portfolio of work. An understanding of the complexities of running NHMF and NLHF funded projects would be beneficial.
