## Summary

The procurement process detailed herein involves the NHS Workforce Alliance's Framework Agreement for Insourced Services, aimed at supporting the provision of healthcare services by the NHS and other public bodies. The contracting authority is the North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC), based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. This framework agreement, classified under the health services category, is designed to offer flexible insourced service solutions across the UK region, providing high-quality, patient-focused care. The current stage is the award update, with key dates including the signing of the contract on 24th April 2025 and a short-term extension of the framework until 31st July 2026 due to unforeseen delays. The framework's open procurement method allows a wide variety of NHS entities and public bodies to place orders with approval.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in clinical and medically-related insourcing services such as diagnostics, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and other specialties. SMEs and larger enterprises in the healthcare sector can benefit from participating in this extensive framework, as it provides a chance to collaborate with the NHS and other public entities operating in diverse healthcare settings. With the inclusion of various specialisms under the framework, it is well-suited for businesses aiming to expand their service offerings across a comprehensive network, thereby aiding growth and establishing vital industry connections. The procurement process seeks firms capable of delivering exceptional service quality with social value considerations, creating a competitive environment for qualified suppliers.
