## Summary

Bolton Council, a regional authority in the United Kingdom, is undertaking a procurement process for a "Digital Alcohol Behaviour Change Programme Outcomes Data Dashboard" in the Health and Social Work Services sector. The procurement stage is at the tender update phase, with a contract formally awarded to Alcohol Change UK. The contract, valued at £8,200, will be delivered between 1 November 2024 and 31 August 2025. The purchasing involves data from the 'Try-Dry App' to assist in changing drinking behaviours among the local population. Key dates include a representation deadline by 30 July 2024, with the formal award decision made on 18 July 2024.

This tender presents firms, especially those specialising in health data analysis, behavioural science, and public health services, an opportunity to leverage innovative solutions for social impact. Medium-sized and small enterprises focusing on health data services, digital health applications, and support services for local authorities are particularly well-suited for such projects. This initiative aims to reduce crime, enhance economic activity, and lessen the demand on health and social care systems, fostering community-wide benefits and encouraging business growth through valuable partnerships.

## Notice

The authority seeks to increase it's Alcohol data set through the purchasing of data from the 'Try-Dry App'. This local data will enable the authority to support our local populations to change their own drinking behaviours. This cuts crime, increases economic activity and reduces demands on our health and social care systems. It also reduces the number of people who need specialist alcohol treatment services.
