## Notice

Powys County Council is seeking to engage with the Market to inform its strategic commissioning and redesign of its 12 Residential Care Homes and one - 12 bedded reablement unit. The need for appropriate older persons' accommodation in Powys is changing. The projected demographic change in Powys will see increased demand for specialist dementia care and nursing care. We need to ensure Powys' strategic objectives for transforming care services and indeed the national strategic objectives can be met by the Council.

The event will be an opportunity for the authority to show case their Market Position Statement and engage at an early stage with the market on the future provision of older people's accommodation options across Powys. Powys County Council is inviting you to attend a presentation on the 12th August from 9.30am - 11am, this will be an online event. Please email: Elaine.Hiatt@powys.gov.uk to confirm your attendance. Following on from the presentation, Individual 1:1 45-minute meetings will take place on the 13th & 14th August 2024, this is an online event to book a slot please email Elaine.Hiatt@powys.gov.uk. The event is appointment only.
