## Summary

NHS Supply Chain has conducted an award phase for a framework agreement concerning the supply of Central Venous Catheters and Associated Products. This procurement process pertains to the healthcare industry category and focuses on the delivery of disposable non-chemical medical consumables within the UK. Initially started with a tender phase on 15th January 2025, the procurement method utilised was an open procedure, culminating with contract signatures executed on 1st September 2025. The agreement, valued between £120,000,000 and £136,500,000 for a potential four-year term, includes options to extend and covers a comprehensive list of medical items for NHS entities and other relevant bodies. Supply Chain Coordination Limited, operating from London, acts as the buyer and contracting authority.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for suppliers specializing in medical devices and consumables. Companies offering Central Venous Catheters, Arterial Lines, and related accessories have the opportunity to access NHS Supply Chain's extensive customer base. The framework allows for potential issuance of sub-contracts to successful suppliers, promoting opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises, alongside established corporations. The award criteria prioritise resilience, training, social value, and competitive pricing, providing a lucrative market for innovative suppliers that can meet stringent quality and insurance standards. With a procurement approach that reserves purchasing rights from non-framework suppliers, flexible engagement options exist, augmenting suppliers' potential for strategic market entry and expansion within the UK healthcare sector.
