## Summary

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is currently in the planning stage for the "Digital Jury Bundle (Pilot & Potential Implementation)" procurement process. This initiative, scheduled for a market engagement activity on Thursday, 8th August 2024, aims to develop a digital solution for jury bundles used in Crown Court trials. The industry category for the tender is technical services (CPV Code: 71356000). This project will be piloted and evaluated before a potential national roll-out. The engagement session will be conducted virtually via Teams and recorded for inclusion in the subsequent Invitation to Tender (ITT) pack. The location for the delivery of services is specified as UKI32, London region.

This tender offers a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in software development, IT services, electronic data management, and related technical services to contribute to a high-impact legal technology project. SMEs, in particular, can benefit from participating, as the CPS encourages diverse supplier involvement. The digital jury bundle solution will involve creating, managing, and providing electronic documents, making it suitable for firms with expertise in software packages, electronic publishing, optical character recognition (OCR), and digital printing. Engaging in this tender could pave the way for long-term governmental contracts and enhanced business growth in the public sector.
