## Summary

Lancashire County Council has completed the award stage for the "Provision of Bikeability Training in Lancashire" specifically for Lot 2: Burnley and Lot 12: Lancaster. The objective was to establish a multi-lotted, multi-provider framework for the Bikeability programme, running from April 2025 to March 2026, with an option to extend for up to 24 additional months in 12-month increments. The procurement process, conducted as an open procedure, saw multiple awards made on 15th November 2024 to providers including Go Velo Ltd, Sporting NRG Ltd, and Gorilla Brakes Ltd. The initiative aims to deliver the Department for Transport's national cycling training programme to school children in England, enhancing their cycling proficiency and confidence.

Companies involved in children's sports training, cycling instruction, and educational programme delivery are well-suited to benefit from this framework. The initial contract terms ensure stable work from April 2025 to March 2026, with potential extensions providing further business continuity and growth.
