## Summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking contractors for East Lancashire's Levelling Up Fund (LUF) programme, a construction project aimed at addressing regional economic disparities by improving infrastructure in Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, and Rossendale. The tender, divided into four Lots corresponding to these districts, calls for interventions to create safer, greener, and healthier streets, as well as more accessible and vibrant town centres. The estimated project value is £24.2 million, and the deadline for submissions is 29 April 2025 at 16:00. This procurement process is in the Tender stage and follows an open procedure.

This tender presents significant opportunities for construction and infrastructure businesses, particularly those experienced in urban regeneration and public realm projects. Companies specialising in creating sustainable, community-focused environments will find this project well-suited to their capabilities. Each Lot will be awarded to a single contractor, allowing businesses to focus on and deliver comprehensive work packages. Successful bidders could secure up to two Lots, making this a substantial growth opportunity for firms looking to expand their portfolio and influence in the UK construction sector.
