## Summary

Stafford Borough Council has completed the procurement process for a Framework Agreement to provide Maintenance & Servicing of Vehicles, relevant to the car maintenance services category. The contract, with a total value of £480,000, has been awarded in two lots: Lot 1 for SBC Owned Vehicles exceeding 3.5t GVW, and Lot 2 for SBC Owned Vehicles under 3.5t GVW. The awarded contracts are for the provision of car maintenance services within Staffordshire, covering dates from 1st February 2025 through to 31st January 2027, with options to extend until 2029. The procurement method used was an open procedure and originally entered the tender period ending on 9th September 2024.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in vehicle maintenance and repairs, particularly those capable of handling both preventative and reactive maintenance for a diverse vehicle fleet. It is ideal for organisations that can ensure high O Licence and MOT test pass rates and provide consistent availability of vehicles within standard service hours. Large-scale suppliers such as Staffordshire County Council, which has already been awarded this contract, exemplify the type of established provider well-suited for this procurement opportunity. Business entities looking to expand their service offerings to the public sector in the vehicle maintenance industry can find this Framework Agreement a growth-conducive venture.
