## Summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking suppliers for its "Boundary Products" procurement project, classified under the fencing components industry category (CPV 34928220). The procurement process is currently at the Tender Update stage with a revised pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) deadline of 2nd September 2024, 09:00 am. This project involves the supply, installation, and maintenance of various boundary products such as fencing, gates, bollards, and security barriers across Thames Water’s estate covering London, the Thames Valley, and Home Counties regions. The total value of the contract is £60,000,000, split into three lots for supply and maintenance services. The procurement method employed is a selective negotiated procedure with a call for competition.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in security and fencing products, particularly those with comprehensive capabilities in design, installation, and maintenance. The contract is structured to ensure long-term cooperation with suppliers, including the potential for extensions up to a total of 8 years. Ideal candidates will have a robust capacity for both planned and reactive maintenance services. Additionally, businesses equipped to handle high-security requirements and innovative boundary solutions will find this tender particularly advantageous. The procurement presents a growth opportunity for companies within the security and infrastructure sectors, enabling them to establish a long-term relationship with one of the largest water service providers in the UK.
