## Summary

Transport UK East Anglia Limited, a subsidiary of Transport UK Group, is engaging in an early market engagement for future construction frameworks under the title "Early Market Engagement for Greater Anglia future construction frameworks". This procurement process is currently in the planning stage and falls under the construction industry's "works" category. Key details include a virtual market engagement event scheduled for 20th August 2024 at 2 PM via MS Teams. Suppliers interested in participating must register at the specified link and are encouraged to have no more than two representatives per supplier. Following the event, a questionnaire will gather further feedback to shape the procurement framework. The entire procurement process utilises the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) for supplier selection, with strict requirements on maintaining valid RISQS membership and qualifications.

This tender presents substantial business growth opportunities by engaging in a £20 million framework covering diverse construction works. Ideal for businesses proficient in building, mechanical, and electrical works, including specialist station painting, the framework is divided into four lots. Each lot addresses specific needs like depot construction, station refurbishment, mechanical and electrical upgrades, and painting. Companies with the capacity to handle large-scale construction projects, particularly those with relevant RISQS qualifications, would be well-suited to compete. Participating in this procurement process can lead to long-term contracts and strengthen ties within the railway services industry in East Anglia and beyond.
