## Summary

The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is in the planning stages for a significant tender titled "JET Decommissioning and Repurposing Integrated Tier 1 Project Delivery Resource." The tender falls under the services category, specifically targeting business, professional, and specialist organisations. This procurement process is focused on the Culham Campus in the region UKJ1 (Abingdon). Key dates to note include a future notice expected on 31st July 2025. The project aims to manage Tier 1 support requirements through an Integrated Project Delivery/Construction Manager (IPD/CM) method over a 15-20 year period, contingent upon funding approvals and Tranche alignments.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for SMEs with expertise in engineering, consultative engineering, integrated engineering, and decommissioning services. As the project progresses into the decommissioning execution phases, there will be an expanding need for multiple SMEs with various skill sets. Participation in this innovative and long-term project can lead to significant business growth, positioning companies at the forefront of developing and deploying new technologies in fusion decommissioning. Firms that specialise in these areas and are capable of integrating their teams with the UKAEA's workforce at the Culham Campus will find this tender particularly well-suited to their capabilities.

## Notice

The JDR Programme team have elected to utilise the IPD/CM (agent) delivery method as the over-arching organisation for managing the contracts. It is anticipated that the JDR programme will run for 15-20 years in total, the associated Tier 1 support requirements will be required for the majority of this period (subject to funding approval and Tranche alignment). Support requirements will expand as the programme develops into decommissioning execution phases; however, the initial expectation would be one SME (Skill set requirements) per defined role. As the programme and work scope increased the requirement for multiple SME's will increase. SME would be expected to attend on site at the Culham Campus and will be integrated with the UKAEA team.
