## Summary

NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 for a Community Tele-dermatology Service, involving virtual dermatology triage and medical photography clinics. The service will be delivered across the Frimley ICS geography and includes medical photography clinics at various clinical sites, available six days a week, and a virtual triage service for both adults and children over 12 years old. The initial one-year contract, valued at £687,605, formally commences on 30 August 2024, with a potential extension bringing the contract's total value to £1,375,210. This award notice published on 6 November 2024 signifies the completion of the tender stage, following the PSR Direct Award Process C, confirming the contract awarded through a direct award procedure to Xyla Elective Care.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in medical imaging and healthcare technology to engage in innovative service delivery within the tele-dermatology sector. Companies offering specialised equipment or services for medical imaging and virtual healthcare platforms could find this tender process particularly advantageous. Furthermore, specialised staffing agencies providing trained medical personnel for dermatology clinics would also benefit, given the need for skilled staff to capture high-quality images for virtual triage. The contract's emphasis on accessibility and quick turnaround times underscores an ongoing demand for responsive and integrated healthcare solutions within the Frimley ICS geography.
