## Summary

Beyond Housing is planning a procurement process for the repair and maintenance of hard-wired warden call and telecare equipment, with services rendered across the TS, DL, and YO postcodes. The estimated total value of this 3-year contract is £150,000, and commercial proposals favour a fixed pricing model. Interested vendors should be aware that Beyond Housing is considering tendering independently or using an existing framework provider, depending on the response. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with a potential future notice date set for 13 October 2024. There's an opportunity for the contract to be split between Northern and Southern areas if there's sufficient interest.

This procurement opens avenues for businesses specialising in repair and maintenance services, particularly those with experience or capacity in supporting telecare and warden call systems. SMEs and larger companies can benefit by securing a long-term contract with a public housing body. Businesses positioned to cover all areas within the TS, DL, and YO postcodes will have a competitive edge, but there remains potential for those who can only serve either the Northern or Southern regions. This opportunity is particularly suitable for companies that can offer reliable, responsive service both during and outside regular hours.

## Notice

We are due to renew our contract for the repair and maintenance of our hard-wired warden call / telecare equipment. We cover TS, DL and YO postcodes. There is a framework available with mini competition, however we are interested to understand if there are other vendors in the market that would be interested in bidding on our opportunity should we opt to tender independently of a framework provider. Repairs and maintenance would be in and out of hours and could be anywhere within our geographically remit. We are looking to contract for a minimum of 3 years. We are looking to appoint one contractor to cover all areas but we would consider splitting into a 'north' and 'south' contract if there was enough interest and /or no vendor demand to cover all postcodes. There would be clear response times that would form part of contract performance.Commercially we would look for a preferred model of fixed pricing. The estimated total value included in this notice is based on 3years
