## Summary

The procurement process for the "North West Construction Hub – Consultancy Framework (2024 to 2028)" is currently at the award stage and involves Manchester City Council as the buying organisation. The framework aims to secure professional services in the real estate services industry across various sectors including architectural, civil, and structural engineering, and building surveying. Key dates include the electronic submission deadline on 24th September 2024, with contracts commencing in December 2024. This open procedure covers the region of UKD and allows submissions in English, with a three-year contract duration and an optional one-year extension.

This framework provides substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in consultancy services for construction projects, as it is an expansive and collaborative procurement process. Suitable candidates include multi-disciplinary design services, architectural firms, engineering consultancies, and those providing comprehensive project management services. Businesses that prioritise social value, carbon neutrality, and sustainability, as highlighted in the award criteria with a 70% quality weighting, are likely to be competitive candidates for this framework. The framework, valuing £36,000,000, encourages SMEs as well as large firms to participate, fostering growth and economic development within their operational sphere.
