## Summary

Lambeth Council is commissioning Semi Independent Living Services (SILS) for 16+ children looked after and care leavers. This procurement process involves six lots of Approved Provider Lists with varied support models: enhanced 24/7 support, standard 24/7 support, and visiting support. Three of the lots are for services within a London borough, while the other three are for services outside London. The updated deadline for Expression of Interest submissions is noon on 4 October 2024. The procurement is currently in the tender stage, and proposals must be submitted online. Final proposals will be evaluated for placement onto the Approved Provider Lists, with individual placements to be agreed through call-off processes. The total contract value is £59.5 million, with contracts running for approximately 2520 days.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in housing and youth welfare services. Companies offering creative, trauma-informed approaches to care and capable of delivering high standards of accommodation and support services stand a strong chance of success. Providers within London and those operating outside can compete, recognising expected differences in pricing. The contracts are ideal for organisations proficient in managing semi-independent living environments and providing tailored support to young people, including those with higher needs requiring enhanced multidisciplinary services. This procurement process could foster long-term partnerships and steady revenue streams, contributing significantly to business growth in the social care sector.

## Notice

Lambeth Council are excited to announce the commissioning of our semi-independent living contracts for 16+ children looked after and care leavers. These will be procured through six lots of Approved Provider Lists, with different support models including: enhanced 24/7 support; standard 24/7 support; and visiting support. Three lots are for services within a London borough, and three lots for the same support models but for services outside London in recognition of expected differences in pricing. Our ask is for services to be creative in their approaches, trauma-informed, and for young people to be truly at the heart of your organisation, with their needs put first. Through this tender, successful bidders will be placed onto the Approved Provider Lists. Individual placements will then be agreed through later call-off processes as placements are required. At the call off stage APL providers will put forward their proposals which include the property details and support offer.
