## Summary

The British Library is currently in the planning stage for re-procuring its Estates Maintenance Services, with a focus on building and facilities management services. The procurement process aims to cover maintenance and associated repairs, contract management, small capital works, health and safety procedures, and space planning across two key locations: St Pancras in London and Boston Spa in Yorkshire. Potential suppliers are invited to contribute to a market engagement survey by 2nd October 2024, indicating the Library's effort to gather insights for refining its procurement approach. The estimated contract value is £49 million, and the process falls under the services category, supported by EU procurement laws.

This tender offers a substantial opportunity for businesses in the facilities management and related services sector. Companies specialising in statutory repairs, mechanical and electrical maintenance, project management, and health and safety compliance will find this engagement particularly fitting. Both large and small enterprises, including specialists and generalists in the industry, are encouraged to participate in the market consultation phase. Engaging in this process could pave the way for future opportunities, enhancing business growth through collaboration with one of the UK's most significant cultural institutions.
