## Summary

Bristol City Council is seeking a service provider or consortium to deliver a comprehensive Tenant Energy Advice Service (TEA) under the open procedure procurement method. The service, valued at GBP 650,000, aims to provide energy advice to all tenants within Bristol City without eligibility criteria, targeting specific vulnerable groups such as older people, those with health issues, and individuals with utility arrears. The procurement process is currently at the tender stage, with key dates including the tender submission deadline on 30 September 2024 and the contract period starting from 4 November 2024 to 3 November 2028. This procurement falls under the category of "Consultative engineering and construction services" (CPV: 71310000) and covers the UKK11 region.

This tender presents substantial business growth opportunities, particularly for organisations specialising in energy consultancy and community engagement. Businesses that provide advisory services on reducing fuel debt, energy supplier switching, efficient use of heating systems, and claiming fuel discounts are ideally suited to compete. Furthermore, companies with a track record in assisting vulnerable populations and managing similar public service contracts will find this opportunity aligns well with their expertise. This contract offers a long-term engagement to create impactful community benefits while maintaining a healthy and warm living environment for Bristol City Council tenants.
