## Summary

The Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, acting as the Lead Provider for the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative, is planning a procurement process for the provision of Eating Disorder Day Hospital Services. This procurement process is in the planning stage, with key dates including a market engagement event on 26th September 2024 and individual sessions on 1st and 2nd October 2024. The services will be geographically located within the West Midlands and are classified under the CPV code 85111500 for Psychiatric hospital services. The expected contract length is a maximum of 2 years, with an estimated annual value of £927,198, totalling £1,854,396 over the contract's lifetime. Potential providers must be registered with the Care Quality Commission to deliver these mental health services, which aim to support young people aged 13-18 with eating disorders.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in mental health services, particularly those with experience in structured therapeutic programmes and educational support for young people. Companies that can provide compliant, guideline-based treatments and are capable of operationalising a seven-day service offering will find a suitable fit with the contract requirements. The rigorous need for tailored interventions and the potential to reduce inpatient admissions makes this tender incredibly valuable for businesses aiming to expand their portfolio in the healthcare sector, particularly within psychiatric and specialised eating disorder care services.
