## Summary

The Uffculme Centre in Birmingham, UK, acting as the buying organisation, has concluded the procurement process titled "Outcome of bids for development funding to support inpatient pathway transformation" under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. This procurement, classified under the health services industry (CPV: 85100000), was aimed at funding innovative projects from NHS and VCFSE Provider Collaborative Partners that align with the Birmingham and Solihull ICS 3 Year Strategic Plan for Mental Health Inpatient Services, including rehabilitation and care for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism. The procurement stage has reached the award phase, with funding agreements signed in September and November 2024, to be implemented from November 2024 onwards, for a duration of 12 months.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those focusing on mental health, learning disabilities, and autism support. Successful bids have been awarded to organisations such as Autism West Midlands, Birmingham Mind, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Resources for Autism, and Servol, with funding allocations ranging from £45,223 to £200,000. The use of a limited procurement method without prior publication highlights the emphasis on selecting the most suitable providers under the PSR, providing a focused competitive opportunity for established healthcare service providers to contribute to and benefit from the strategic plan's implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for businesses in the healthcare sector to engage in transformative projects that support substantial improvements in mental health services within the Birmingham and Solihull area.
