## Summary

The University of Keele has announced the intention to award a 12-month extension to an existing public services contract with Uni-Quest Limited for the provision of Prospective Student Engagement and Conversion Services. This extension, spanning from 1st October 2024 to 30th September 2025, is classified under education and training services. Following this extension, the University will conduct a competitive tendering process to procure a new three-year contract starting on 1st October 2025. The public procurement is in the "Award" stage and utilises a limited, negotiated procurement method without publication of a contract notice, focusing on the continuity of service provision in the West Midlands (UKG24 region).

This tender extension opens opportunities for businesses specialising in education-related services, particularly those with expertise in student recruitment and engagement. The forthcoming competitive tendering process scheduled for February 2025 presents significant growth prospects for firms capable of offering innovative student engagement solutions. Service providers adept in deploying tailored, technology-enhanced strategies to improve student conversion rates will find this procurement particularly advantageous. SMEs and larger organisations with robust experience in education services are well-suited to compete for the upcoming three-year contract, thereby potentially expanding their portfolio and establishing long-term partnerships with higher education institutions.
