## Summary

The Ministry of Defence (MoD), located in Bristol, is currently in the planning stage for a significant procurement called the "Land Mobility Programme." This initiative, falling under the goods category and classified within the military vehicles industry (CPV code 35400000), aims to modernise and enhance the UK's protected mobility and utility vehicle fleet. The MoD plans to deliver a comprehensive briefing on 18 September 2024 during the Defence Vehicle Dynamics (DVD 24) event, which will take place between 1120 and 1220hrs. This pre-concept briefing is an initial step to inform and engage potential suppliers, with further details and official announcements expected to follow, including a pre-market engagement questionnaire after gaining cross-government endorsement in June 2025.

This procurement represents a robust opportunity for businesses specialising in advanced vehicle technologies, digital enablement, and adaptable mobility solutions. Companies with expertise in military vehicles and associated parts will find this tender particularly relevant. By participating in the Land Mobility Programme, businesses can potentially secure contracts that promise sustained collaboration and growth, given the MoD's strategic focus on leveraging top-tier industry solutions to meet current and future demands. Suppliers interested in contributing innovative and competitive platforms to the Joint Force are encouraged to express their interest by contacting ArmyProgs-LandMobilityProgramme@mod.gov.uk to stay informed about upcoming requirements and engagement opportunities.
