## Summary

Nottinghamshire County Council has concluded an Equipment Based Major Adaptations Framework Agreement with an estimated value of £5,000,000 per year. This Framework covers various services including the purchasing, installation, and warranty of equipment such as stairlifts, ceiling track hoists, vertical lifts, step lifts, and modular ramps. The agreement spans 3 years with an option to extend for an additional 2 years. This initiative, available to several councils including Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Broxtowe, Gedling, Mansfield, Newark & Sherwood, and Rushcliffe, aims to provide equipment-based solutions to support people with care needs across Nottinghamshire, excluding Nottingham City. The procurement method was an open tender process, with the award date being 14th January 2025.

This Framework Agreement provides significant opportunities for businesses in the installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment sector. With a yearly budget of up to £5,000,000, businesses that offer high-quality equipment and outstanding service can benefit greatly. This tender is ideal for SMEs specialising in stairlift installation, hoist systems, vertical lifts, and access solutions.
