## Summary

Warwickshire County Council, in partnership with Coventry City Council, has awarded a contract for Adult Advocacy Services in the health and social work sector. The process was conducted through an open procedure, and the tender, titled "Adult Advocacy Services," is now in the award stage. The contract, valued at £7,326,660, was signed with VoiceAbility Advocacy on 20th January 2025. Services will be delivered primarily within the boundaries of Warwickshire and Coventry, with a commencement date of 31st January 2025. This contract, initially for three years, includes an option to extend up to a maximum of 84 months, potentially concluding by 31st March 2035, depending on performance outcomes. The initiative seeks to support vulnerable community members to remain safe, healthy, and independent.

This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses offering advocacy services, especially those experienced with statutory care and mental health provisions. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focused on health services, legal advice, or community care can find this contract advantageous. The blend of statutory and non-statutory services across various advocacy spectrums within the healthcare and mental health domains can greatly benefit organisations geared towards comprehensive, person-centred support, enabling business growth through reliable, long-term service delivery commitments and potential continuous improvement funding. This contract also allows businesses to leverage emerging technologies in service delivery, enhancing performance and broadening their impact within the community.
