## Summary

Peterborough City Council is seeking to establish a Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) for Day Opportunities under the Light Touch Regime as defined by Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The procurement process, currently at the tender stage, includes several lots targeting diverse services within the health and social work sector, such as day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities or autism, older people, supported employment services, and early intervention and prevention day opportunities. The geographic focus for these services is within a 20-mile radius of Peterborough (PE2 8TY). The procurement method is an open procedure with a tender period ending on 4th November 2024.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities for service providers in the health and social care sector, particularly those specialising in services for adults with learning disabilities, older people, and employment support. Providers must have premises within the specified geographic radius, which could include office spaces or service delivery buildings. The contract, initially set for three years with the possibility of extending by up to four additional years in yearly increments, encourages participation by allowing suppliers to bid for one or multiple lots, fostering diverse and competitive service provision. This flexibility and long-term engagement make the tender particularly attractive for established providers looking to expand or solidify their service offerings in the Peterborough area.
