## Summary

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust based in Stanmore, United Kingdom, has awarded a contract for Specialist Radiology Reporting under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Regulations 2023. The contract, titled "Specialist Radiology Reporting," focuses on medical imaging services specifically related to sarcoma and complex spines. The contract, identified by RNOH-SRR-24/25, starts on 28th October 2024 with an initial 12-month duration and a potential 12-month extension. The contract value is dependent on activity levels but may reach up to £450,000. This procurement falls outside the scope of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and was awarded using the 'most suitable provider' process.

This tender represents a significant growth opportunity for businesses specialising in medical imaging services, particularly those with expertise in sarcoma and complex spine radiology. Suitable candidates are those with experienced and qualified radiologists capable of accurately reporting complex scans. The tender allows for up to 500 scans per month, highlighting a substantial volume of activity that requires adherence to national service specifications set by NHS England. Businesses that can offer reliability, quality, and capacity in handling such specialised radiological tasks are well-positioned to benefit from this contracting opportunity.
