A Telehealth virtual ward will monitor the patient at home and provide treatment to prevent hospital admission. Remote monitoring for patients who have recently had a heart attack to reduce A&E attendance and prevents readmissions to hospital. The contract expenditure for 2023/24 was PS30,000. This notice is for a Direct Award C PSR process to commence from the 22nd of October 2024 to 30/09/2025 bringing the lifetime value of the contract to the value of c. PS30,000. Under the test for considerable change this is within the permitted criteria (not exceeding PS500,000 and 25%).

A Telehealth virtual ward will monitor the patient at home and provide treatment to prevent hospital admission. Remote monitoring for patients who have recently had a heart attack to reduce A&E attendance and prevents readmissions to hospital. The ICB is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C, where the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed new contract, and the contract is not changing considerably. The contract will support 8 membership practices in the Seisdon locality and the approximate lifetime value of the contract is PS30,000. The dates between which the services are intended to be provided are: 22/10/2024 to 30/09/2025.
