## Summary

The procurement is structured under an open procedure and includes two Lots: Lot 1 for kerbside residual waste and Lot 2 for bulky residual waste. The submission deadline for electronic tenders is 27th November 2024 at 12:00 pm, with the award period starting the same day. The contracts could have a base duration of 720 days, extendable up to an additional 2 years.

Qualified businesses can bid for one or both lots, with the potential to be awarded multiple contracts if economically viable. Companies specialising in kerbside or bulky waste disposal, as well as those able to offer advanced treatment solutions, are well-positioned to benefit from this procurement. The estimated contract value stands at £2,000,000, reflecting a substantial opportunity for business growth and long-term engagement with Bath and North East Somerset Council. Businesses must ensure their bids emphasize both quality and cost-effectiveness, with evaluation criteria weighted at 30% for quality and 70% for price.
