## Summary

The SEL ICB (Lewisham & Greenwich) is initiating an open procurement process for the "Take Home and Settle Service (THAS)," a health service aimed at supporting patient discharges from University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital within the boroughs of Lewisham and Greenwich. This tender invites businesses to submit electronic submissions via the Atamis e-tendering portal by 22nd November 2024. The contract spans 1,800 days and covers a wide range of pre-discharge and post-discharge checks to ensure patients are safely settled at home, with a total contract value estimated at GBP 678,965. The procurement process falls under the planning and tender stages and focuses on the health services industry.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for organisations experienced in healthcare support services. Suitable contenders would ideally be those specialising in patient care, community health services, and home support systems. By providing tailored, high-quality discharge services, businesses can not only alleviate hospital readmission rates but also enhance the standard of care for vulnerable and isolated patients. Organisations that can demonstrate efficiency, reliability, and a comprehensive understanding of community health service delivery will find themselves well-positioned to compete for this contract, aiding in a seamless transition from hospital to home for patients.
