## Summary

The NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract to Green Arbour Pharmacy for delivering Pharmacy Local Enhanced Services in Rotherham. This contract falls under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and spans from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025. The procurement process is classified as "services" under CPV code 85149000 and follows a limited procurement method, without prior publication of a call for competition. The procurement method's rationale is that it is outside the scope of the directive's application. The review body for this procurement was the Independent Choice and Procurement Panel, based in London. The procurement stage is classified as "award," indicating that the contract has been concluded and is active. Key dates include the award date on 23rd October 2024 and the contract's active status starting from 1st April 2024.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses in the pharmacy sector that can meet the criteria of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF). The locally enhanced services aimed at the Rotherham population require pharmacies to deliver integrated services alongside CPCF, thus creating a dependent relationship that only specific providers can fulfil. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in pharmacy services and capable of meeting these requirements can benefit greatly. Since the provider is paid on an activity basis according to local prices and the contract aligns with the NHS Payment Scheme, it provides a stable financial model for service providers. This ensures that businesses that can efficiently provide these enhanced services have an opportunity for growth and sustainable income throughout the contract period.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

he provider is commissioned to deliver locally enhanced services for the Rotherham population. This contract Award has been made following direct award process B under the Provider Selection Regime.

These contracts are awarded to an existing group of providers. Although we would not restrict the number of providers who deliver these LCS services provided they meet the contract and specification criteria, the primary reason that these services can only be delivered by this group of providers (pharmacy) is because they are required to hold a contract via the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) and deliver the LCS alongside these services; the LCS is designed to enhance the (CPCF) contract and not stand alone, therefore, interdependency between the two services is paramount. For this reason not every Pharmacy delivers every LCS.

The provider is paid on an activity basis based on local prices. The contract award is from 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025. This is an existing service from an existing provider. Additional information: The contract value is unknown. The provider is paid in line with the relevant unit prices for the activity delivered in accordance with the nationally mandated NHS Payment Scheme

### Procurement Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
