## Summary

This contract award notice pertains to the "Pharmacy Local Enhanced Services 2024/25 – Darren Senior Limited T/A Vantage Pharmacy" issued by NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The procurement process falls under the Provider Selection Regime regulations, hence not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This direct award was made under procedure B without prior publication of a call for competition. The contract, awarded to deliver local enhanced services in Rotherham, commences on 1st April 2024 and ends on 31st March 2025. The procurement method utilised reflects the limited competition due to the specialised nature of services required, specifically those tied to the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework.

The extensive scope of the local enhanced services presents a significant opportunity for pharmacies meeting the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework criteria. Businesses, especially SMEs operating within the healthcare and pharmacy sectors in the Rotherham area, stand to benefit from this award. Companies that can deliver integrated and essential health services will find tailored growth opportunities, as the contract ensures a steady stream of work tied to local pricing structures and the nationally mandated NHS Payment Scheme. This procurement is particularly suited for pharmacies with a robust capability to provide comprehensive health services that complement existing frameworks.

## Notice

The provider is commissioned to deliver locally enhanced services for the Rotherham population.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The provider is commissioned to deliver locally enhanced services for the Rotherham population. This contract Award has been made following direct award process B under the Provider Selection Regime.

These contracts are awarded to an existing group of providers. Although we would not restrict the number of providers who deliver these LCS services provided they meet the contract and specification criteria, the primary reason that these services can only be delivered by this group of providers (pharmacy) is because they are required to hold a contract via the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) and deliver the LCS alongside these services; the LCS is designed to enhance the (CPCF) contract and not stand alone, therefore, interdependency between the two services is paramount. For this reason not every Pharmacy delivers every LCS.

The provider is paid on an activity basis based on local prices. The contract award is from 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025. This is an existing service from an existing provider. Additional information: The contract value is unknown. The provider is paid in line with the relevant unit prices for the activity delivered in accordance with the nationally mandated NHS Payment Scheme

### Procurement Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
