## Notice

Essex County Council ("The Council"), Thurrock Council, Southend-on-Sea City Council and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner have come together in collaboration to redesign the Domestic Abuse service offer for the people of Essex.This collaborative approach also includes conjoint working to ensure a joined up approach to responding to incidents of domestic abuse within Essex. Our initial funding envelope is PS25 million over the lifetime of the contract and is distributed across the lots based on forecasted demand data. In addition, the budgetary projections for this service incorporate flexibility to respond to increased demand depending on the availability of potential additional external funding amounting to PS20 million during the lifetime of the contract. For the avoidance of any further doubt, any additional funding will be in line with therates and costings set out within the tender of awarded bidders Please be advised that the Council is unable to guarantee access to any additional funding at the point of tender and any variation of the stated contract value for this procurement remains subject to further internal governance at the Council's sole discretion.

### Lot Information

Central Point of Contact

The purpose of the CPOC is to provide specialist domestic abuse needs and risks assessments and expert information, advice and guidance and where needed, onwards referral to support for adult victims and perpetrators. A victim is a person who is experiencing / have experienced domestic abuse. A perpetrator is a person who purposefully causes harm to another person or allow for harm to be done to another person. The CPOC is for anyone 16 years+ from Southend, Essex or Thurrock

Options: The Authority may, at its sole discretion, extend the Term by a further period or periods up to 12 (twelve) months (the Extension Periods) by giving not less than 3 months' written notice prior to the expiry of the Term (as extended from time to time) provided that such extensions shall not exceed 24 (twenty four) months in total.

Community/IDVA and Support in Safe Accommodation North

Support in safe accommodation for adult and child victims in an emergency or crisis through the provision of relevant safe accommodation, such as refuge, dispersed units and move on accommodation. Community based support for victims (child and adult), which will also include support from specialist Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs). Lot 2 - Support for adults and children in the community (including IDVA) and support for victims (adults and dependent children) in Safe Accommodation - NORTH / MID (covers the geographical (District, City, and Borough Council) areas of: Colchester, Tendring, Maldon, Braintree, Uttlesford, Chelmsford).

Options: The Authority may, at its sole discretion, extend the Term by a further period or periods up to 12 (twelve) months (the Extension Periods) by giving not less than 3 months' written notice prior to the expiry of the Term (as extended from time to time) provided that such extensions shall not exceed 24 (twenty four) months in total.

Pan Essex Perpetrator Service

The PEDACC wants to maximise the opportunity for perpetrators of domestic abuse, people impacted by domestic abuse and those supporting people impacted by domestic abuse to be able to access a SET wide Central Point of Contact and domestic abuse support services that are delivered in their local areas.
