## Summary

The NHS London Procurement Partnership, hosted by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, has updated the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of non-emergency transport services and other transport services. This system is classified under the CPV code 60000000 for transport services, excluding waste transport. The procurement falls under the services category, with the main location of service delivery being London, UK. This notice specifically extends the existing DPS until 6th February 2029, allowing eligible NHS Trusts and other Contracting Authorities to maintain procurement continuity. The procurement method is a selective, restricted procedure, and interested parties can register and apply via a specific URL provided in the tender details.

This DPS presents significant business growth opportunities for companies offering services such as patient transport, mental health and secure transport, high dependency transport services, and taxi and passenger transport services. The system allows suppliers who meet the selection criteria to be admitted with no cap on the number of suppliers per category, promoting competitive tendering and facilitating the award of individual contracts. Businesses within the transport sector that specialise in the transport of medicines, courier services, or other non-emergency transport services will find this a suitable avenue to expand their market presence by engaging in further competitions invited by contracting authorities within the system.

## Notice

Guy's and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust (as host of the NHS London Procurement Partnership) is seeking to make some changes to the provision of non-emergency transport and other transport services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This notice relates to the modification and extension of the existing DPS to enable continued access for NHS Trusts and other eligible Contracting Authorities to complete further competitions and pre-market activities i.e. that commenced prior to the expiry date of the DPS. The extension ensures continuity of procurement processes already underway and supports the orderly transition to the forthcoming Provider Selection Regime (PSR) framework, which is intended to supersede this DPS for all in-scope PSR requirements. No fundamental changes are being made to the original scope or nature or value (PS) of the DPS; the modification is limited to extending its duration and adding a category to meet ongoing NHS operational needs aligned with the original objectives.
