## Summary

The NHS North East London Integrated Care Board is currently overseeing the procurement process for the "Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Simple Post Op Wound Care Service - NELFT". This service, falling under the industry category of Medical Practice Services (CPV code 85121000), aims to provide simple post-operative wound care to residents registered with GPs in the specified regions. The procurement stage is at the contract award phase, with the contract scheduled to start on 1st April 2024 and to conclude on 30th September 2025. The total value of the contract is approximately £83,538, and any providers interested needed to make their representations by 15th November 2024.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in medical practice services, particularly those with skilled nursing staff and healthcare assistants capable of delivering high-quality post-op wound care. The contract's award was conducted under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and was not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Given the direct award process, businesses with prior experience in similar healthcare services, especially in collaboration and integration within healthcare systems, would be well-suited to compete. The clear emphasis on criteria such as choice, equality, and social value makes this an attractive contract for providers committed to enhancing patient care and addressing healthcare inequalities.
